XGI redraw its graphics card plans

ON FRIDAY we were told that XGI had cancelled its long planned visit to Europe because of a marketing decision. Well, this decision has changed again. We were called by XGI who told us they will come to the ball, giving us the opportunity to test a card for longer than 24 hours. You cannot simply cancel all reviews in Europe, as Club 3D one of the supporters of XGI, had already send out samples to its favourite press -- excluding us from their list simply since XGI wanted to deal with us directly.

An even more interesting fact is that Club 3D has already sold its first batch of Volari Duo V8 cards at suggested oruce if €375, as you cannot sell the goods without reviews and magazine noise. I believe that we are talking about a nice piece of hardware waiting for a better driver, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. We will have more to say about these Volari cards by the end of the week when we examine one or two of them.
