It was only last month that Xiaomi surprised the world with its bezel-less Mi MIX "concept". It would later go on sale and prove to be very popular, selling out in a mere ten seconds. For those who were a bit put-off by the handset's 6.4-inch display, you'll be happy to know that there could be a smaller 5.5-inch version in the works.
While details are scarce at this point, an alleged image of the smaller handset has been posted to the internet via Weibo. Although the image doesn't offer a glimpse at the physical design of the handset, it does offer a hazy look that specifications like the CPU, RAM, and storage capacity. If the image is to be believed, the handset could arrive with the moniker, MIX NANO.
The Mi MIX is currently only available in Asia with no word on if it will land in other regions anytime soon. While the bezel-less design - with a display that extends into the curved corners of the handset - is unique for now, rival Meizu is said to be preparing something similar with its 'Pro 7' handset, which could start at $395 USD.
