Around this time last year, Xiaomi introduced its second-generation Android One smartphones in Spain, the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite. The legacy devices are now due for a successor, of course, and Xiaomi Spain confirmed today that its upcoming Android One device, the Mi A3, will be announced in the country on July 15.
This is not the first time, though, that we're hearing of the handset. Late last week, the Chinese phone maker posted a teaser on Twitter, suggesting an impending debut of its next-gen Android One device.
One of the features confirmed by Xiaomi to be coming with the Mi A3 is support for Google Assistant. An earlier tweet by the company also indicated that some improvements to its rear and front cameras are in order. More details will be revealed during the phone's global announcement later this week.
