Many of those keen to get their hands on the OnePlus One will no doubt have been frustrated by the company's purchasing system, which requires users to have an 'invite' in order to be able to buy the handset. But OnePlus has made things a little easier in recent weeks, presenting two brief opportunities for buyers to order the device without an invite.
The last such opportunity was around Thanksgiving weekend - but now, the company is letting users order the OnePlus One without an invite yet again, as part of its festive 'Gift of One' promotion. There's no defined expiry date for this latest purchasing window, although a note on the OnePlus homepage does warn that the "offer ends soon" and, elsewhere, that it will only be available "while supplies last".
Significantly, if you buy the device now, the company says that your order "will arrive before December 25", so if you're buying it as a gift, you should get it in time for Christmas.
