You can finally put your Huawei MateBook back on the Insider Program

If you purchased Huawei's MateBook back when it came out in July, you might have noticed some interesting glitches with the Windows Insider Program. The device would install up to build 14383, but wouldn't receive any builds beyond that.

Microsoft has been hard at work fixing the issue for some time, and it has officially been fixed. You can once again sign up your MateBook to receive builds from the Development Branch, which is currently build 14915 in the Fast ring.

The MateBook is Huawei's entry into the Windows 2-in-1 market, offering a slim and light tablet, a Portfolio Keyboard, MateDock, and a MatePen that has a laser pointer. We reviewed it after it launched in the United States and were impressed.

To sign up your device for the Windows Insider Program, head over to Settings -> Update & security -> Windows Insider Program, and click Get started. After your PC reboots, head back and make sure that it's set to the ring that you prefer, which would be Release Preview, Slow, or Fast.
