Microsoft's Lumia 635 has become one of the most popular Windows Phones around, thanks in no small part to the regular promotions that have offered deep discounts on the device. When it first went on sale a year ago, the Lumia 635 was priced at $189 SIM-free, but recent deals have seen it on sale for as little as $29 off-contract.
The latest promotion isn't quite as good as that, but it's still a pretty decent deal: the 4G handset is currently available for $49.99 off-contract at Best Buy. That's a discount of $30 off the retailer's regular price for the 635, but while there's no contract obligation, the device itself is locked to T-Mobile.
The Lumia 635's key specs include:
- 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480px) IPS LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3
- Quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
- 512MB RAM
- 8GB onboard storage (plus microSD support up to 128GB)
- 5MP rear camera with autofocus and 720p video recording
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- 4G LTE connectivity
- Accelerometer, SensorCore
- Removable 1830mAh battery
Best Buy is only selling the handset in white, although you can pick up swappable covers in different colors for only a few bucks, if you prefer something different.
