Microsoft relaunched its SkyDrive data storage service earlier today as OneDrive, and that change extends to the app made for the company's Xbox One console. Today, Microsoft announced that owners of the Xbox One can also claim some new achievements when they use the OneDrive app.
Xbox Wire lists some of the new achievements that can be unlocked by using OneDrive and two of them are active for one week only. One of them simply requires a user open the OneDrive app in its first week, while the other can be achieved by playing through 20 images in a sideshow from an account's camera roll.
Other OneDrive-based achievements are pretty easy to unlock, such as "Hope those aren't all selfies…" (view 10 photos from the camera roll) and "Now you're thinking with folders" (Add a shared folder to OneGuide). Others will require both time and patience to unlock, like "Long exposure" (View 100,000 photos) and "On a roll" (Watch five hours of slideshows).
The site also reminds Xbox One owners that they can record clips from games they play on the console on its GameDVR and then use the Upload Studio to edit and upload the clip to their OneDrive account.
