Since the first week of the month, Microsoft has been offering up to $200 off lower-end models in its Surface Book and Pro 4 ranges. Now, the company has cut 10% off the rest of its Surface Books, including those with its new Performance Base, and it's also offering that promotional discount across most of its Surface Pro 4 range.
Nearly every other model in the Surface Pro 4 line that didn't already have a discount available has had its price cut by 10% in this latest offer. It appears that just one model isn't included in either deal: the Intel Core i5 variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD remains listed at its regular price of $999.
As with the Surface Book, the 10% discount will remain available on the Surface Pro 4 until February 26, while the earlier discount of up to $200 on certain models will continue until February 25.
Meanwhile, across the pond in the United Kingdom, Microsoft raised its Surface Pro 4 prices by 12% last week, while those of its Surface Book increased by up to £400, due to currency fluctuations following the country's Brexit referendum result in 2016.
Microsoft is expected to launch new versions of its Surface Pro tablet and Surface Book this year, as the current models are now almost 16 months old.
