Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 is an outstanding and beautiful device, and many of those who have already purchased it would agree that it's worth every penny. But whichever way you slice it, you'll be parting with quite a chunk of cash if you decide to buy one - in the UK, prices start at £639 for the entry-level model - but if you want the range-topping SP3 with a Type Cover 3 keyboard, you'll have to hand over £1,759.
But there is now an opportunity for some in the UK to get a big discount on the top-tier Surface Pro 3. As Windows Central reports, Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers in the UK have received an email containing details of an exclusive promotion on Microsoft's tablet.
Those with Adobe CC subscriptions can now get £399 off the Surface Pro 3 - but the offer applies only to the top-of-the-line 512GB Core i7 model, with a black Type Cover 3 keyboard. That brings the total price down to £1360, roughly what you'd normally pay for the 256GB Core i7 model on its own, with no keyboard.
Microsoft and Adobe have established a much closer relationship in recent months. Creative Cloud software has been used to showcase the capabilities of the Surface Pro 3 in Microsoft demos, and the companyalso gave away an SP3 to every attendee at Adobe's MAX conference last year.
It appears that this latest discount is available only for Adobe CC subscribers in the UK for now, but if you hear of a similar offer on the Surface Pro 3 elsewhere, be sure to send us a tip!
