With its third-generation products, Microsoft's Surface line appears to have finally hit the right note with buyers, offering thin and light devices to suit a wide range of budget and performance requirements. Microsoft has fleshed out the Surface range with a selection of accessories and peripherals, including the Surface Pen, Type Cover keyboards, and even a Surface-themed mouse.
Another popular accessory among buyers of the Surface 3 and Pro 3 is the docking station, with versions available for each of Microsoft's tablets - but if you haven't yet purchased a Surface dock, now would be a good time to head over to Amazon.com.
As WinSuperSite reports, Amazon's US site is currently offering big discounts on the two docking stations, which are usually priced at just under $200. The version designed for Microsoft's flagship Surface Pro 3 tablet is now available with 42% off, bringing the price down to $116.75.
The discount on the Surface 3 dock is slightly smaller - 37% off - but that still means that you'll pay only $126.73.
Meanwhile, the Microsoft Store is running its own promotion on the two docking stations, but with only $40 off the regular price, you'd be better off going to Amazon. It's not clear how long Amazon will be offering such deep discounts on the docks, but it's probably best not to wait too long if you're considering a purchase.
