As was announced last week, the ASUS ROG Phone is now available for pre-order from the Microsoft Store, along with from ASUS and Amazon. In fact, if you're in the New York City area, you can go check out the launch event at the Microsoft Store on Fifth Ave, which starts at 4:30pm Eastern Time.
The ROG Phone is designed for gaming, powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset and 8GB RAM. The chipset is custom for this designed, as it's overclocked at 2.96GHz, similar to the Snapdragon 850 Mobile Compute Platform. It has a six-inch 1080p 18:9 display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, with 550-nit brightness.
Earlier this week, Microsoft also started offering pre-orders for the Razer Phone 2, another gaming smartphone. That device is also powered by a Snapdragon 845, promising a true 120Hz 1440p display and it's priced at $799.
The ASUS Rog Phone starts at $899.99 for 128GB of storage, but you can get 512GB of storage for $1,099.99. You can find it on the Microsoft Store here, or if you want to grab it from Amazon, you can find it here, although it's a bit pricier. The device will ship on October 29.
