It was a little over a month ago when Apple unveiled its latest handsets, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. But things were a little different this year due to the unveiling of a third phone, the much leaked and highly anticipated, iPhone X.
While eager consumers still have a week left before they can officially pre-order the handset, it looks like enterprising case makers have found a way to deliver the iPhone X before its launch. As you can probably ascertain from the image above, this isn't the real iPhone X, it's just a case that will convert your iPhone 6 or compatible model iPhone into something that resembles the upcoming model.
This is interesting and definitely not a new concept, as there have been replacement cases prior that can convert older generation iPhones to look like newer ones. Perhaps what is funny about the case is that it erases your existing headphone jack for just that added bit of realism. Unfortunately, it doesn't make an effort when it comes to the display, leaving it in its native state without the proper cut out on top. But, EverythingApplePro has compiled a list of apps that will bring that iPhone X experience to the handset, emulating the little things here and there when it comes to software.
