Glow provides detailed reporting on every hardware component in your computer, saving you valuable time typically spent searching for CPU, motherboard, RAM, graphics card, and other stats. With Glow, all the information is conveniently presented in one clean interface, allowing you to easily access and review the comprehensive hardware details of your system.

Glow provides detailed information on various system aspects, including OS, motherboard, processor, memory, graphics card, storage, network, battery, drivers, and services. The well-organized format ensures easy access to the required information. You can export all the gathered data to a plain text file, facilitating sharing with others for troubleshooting purposes.

No installation needed. Just decompress the archive, launch the executable, and access computer-related information. Glow runs on Windows 11 and Windows 10 64-bit versions.

With the release of Glow v24.20, full compatibility with businesses and corporate systems is now ensured. This makes Glow not only suitable for individual use but also an ideal solution for corporate needs!
Glow now supports Windows Server operating systems! Full compatibility is available with Windows Server 2016 and later. Recommended version: Windows Server 2019 and above.

Glow 24.20 changelog:

  • ARM64 support has been reintroduced by restructuring the emulation layer.
  • The algorithm logic for reading and processing Glow's system information has been reprogrammed. Cross-code processing structures are now set to be 'secure.'
  • The background processes within Glow have been updated to the modern architecture with await/async structures.
  • The initial CPU usage of Glow has been optimized for Windows 10 v2004 and above. It now uses less CPU and runs more stably.
  • Glow has been optimized for more balanced RAM usage after being open for a certain period. RAM usage now continues more stably.
  • Glow now shuts down by stopping all background and cross-code operations it was running just before closing. This ensures a 'secure' termination structure.
  • Glow's notification system has been reprogrammed. All notifications now have a modular structure.
  • A Virtual Memory File feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows the location and size of the pagefile.sys file within Windows.
  • A Temporary Virtual Memory File feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows the location and size of the swapfile.sys file within Windows.
  • A Hibernation File feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows the location and size of the hiberfil.sys file within Windows.
  • The Boot Partition and System Partition features in the Operating System section have been enhanced. They are now displayed in greater detail.
  • The RAM Slot Type feature in the RAM section has been improved. It now supports many more memory types beyond DIMM and SO-DIMM.
  • The RAM Manufacturer feature in the RAM section has been enhanced. It can now recognize many more manufacturers.
  • The RAM Voltage feature in the RAM section has been improved. It can now detect memory with different voltage types more accurately, including XMP and EXPO!
  • The Network section’s Local Connection Speed feature now supports network cards with speeds of 10 Gbps and above.
  • The Network section now detects external network adapters more efficiently.
  • The Export Information feature's activation system has been reprogrammed. It now works in a responsive manner and is triggered as soon as all sections are loaded.
  • The Disk Test Tool has been improved. It now cleans the temporary file much faster after the test is complete.
  • The Processor Test Tool's power has been increased. The 'Stress' and 'Deadly' test modes now allow for better testing of the processor.
  • The power of the Memory Test Tool has been increased. It now runs faster and produces more stable results.
  • The Cache Cleanup Tool has been improved. The file cleanup process now runs much faster.
  • TS Preloader now displays the loading progress along with the percentage, instead of simply showing 'Loading'.
  • Update checking system has been improved. Now, it provides more accurate results when there is no internet connection, when an error occurs, or when a new version is available.
  • The .NET Framework November 2024 security update has been re-integrated.

Fixed Bugs

  • A critical error causing Glow to crash immediately after opening has been fixed.
  • An error causing Glow to use high CPU usage during startup has been fixed.
  • An error causing Glow's RAM usage to gradually increase after opening has been fixed.
  • The issue that caused the persistent disruption of cross internal threads during Glow's operation has been resolved.
  • An error causing Glow to crash when the Spanish.ini file is deleted while in Spanish language mode has been fixed. It now works by opening in English even if the language file is deleted.
  • A critical crash error on Glow's ARM64 architecture due to an issue in the emulation layer has been fixed.
  • An error causing the TS Preloader's loading bar to flicker has been fixed.
  • Startup errors caused by Glow's TS Preloader loading too quickly have been fixed. It now starts correctly.
  • A layering issue causing Glow's notifications to appear behind the main window has been fixed.
  • Errors in shutdown events that caused Glow to report an error to the operating system while closing have been fixed.
  • Errors in code targeting the Windows installation disk as always being 'C:' have been fixed. It now works seamlessly even if Windows is installed on a disk other than 'C:'.
  • An error causing the Windows Activation Channel feature in the Operating System section to crash the program on unlicensed Windows devices has been fixed.
  • An occasional information reading error in the BIOS Mode feature under the Motherboard section has been fixed.
  • An error causing the program to freeze due to issues with PowerShell script commands has been fixed.
  • Errors during the processing of some features in the Network section have been fixed.
  • An error causing the text on the Battery tab in the left menu to remain fixed even after changing the language has been fixed.
  • A synchronization error occurring during the activation of the Export Information feature has been fixed. It now activates correctly as soon as all sections are loaded.
  • An error causing Glow's Cache Cleanup Tool to freeze during file cleaning has been fixed.
  • An error causing the selected path text not to be cleared when the cleanup process finishes in Glow's Cache Cleanup Tool has been fixed.
  • A typo causing the message 'Processor Test Tool is already open' to appear when trying to open the Disk Test Tool while it is already open has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug where Glow's Memory Test Tool would show 'Test Completed' instead of 'Test Terminated' when stopping the test while running.
  • When the number of saved Wi-Fi networks is high, the issue that caused the Wi-Fi Password Showing Tool to open slowly has been fixed.

Changes

  • The TS Preloader loading speed has been optimized. The speed reduced in v24.19 has been increased by 50%.
  • The Export Information feature has been optimized by replacing the continuously running unnecessary loop system with a modern architecture.
  • Some terms within Glow have been revised for better understanding.
  • Most unnecessary variables within Glow have been cleaned up, optimizing the code.

Note: Always unzip the program before using it. Otherwise you may get an error.
