Trillian is a fully featured, stand-alone, skinnable chat client that supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC. It provides capabilities not possible with original network clients, while supporting standard features such as audio chat, file transfers, group chats, chat rooms, buddy icons, multiple simultaneous connections to the same network, server-side contact importing, typing notification, direct connection (AIM), proxy support, encrypted messaging (AIM/ICQ), SMS support, and privacy settings.
Trillian provides unique functionality such as:

Fixed bugs in Trillian 6.0 Build 57 Beta:
- Avatar: Avatars may not update when forced by server
- Avatar: Fixed issue when clearing avatars
- Bots: Messages may not get acked with mouse movement
- Bots: Notification will show up for slash commands issued on another device
- Emoji: Fixed issue with some emoji missing
- History: Searching all chats and clicking on a group chat may incorrectly load private chat window
- Media: Uploads to media servers should force TLS 1.2
- Message Window: Closing an unread window without clicking will not update taskbar
- Message Window: Fixed crash related to scrolling and ad units
- Message Window: Typing indicator can show an older display name after it has been updated
- Plugins: Fixed issue with incorrect configuration directory being sent to third party plugins
- TLS: Proper upgrade to TLS 1.2 for some older chat networks
