Back in June, Acer announced its Enduro brand, as it's entering the rugged PC market. Among the new devices is the Enduro N3, which promises to be the thinnest 14-inch rugged device around at under an inch thick. Indeed, it weighs in at just 4.37 pounds, all while passing MIL-STD-810G tests.
It also supports IP53 water resistance. All of the ports are covered, and the IP53 rating means that it's protected from sprays of water from up to 60 degrees from vertical.
All of this is done without compromising on performance. The unit that Acer sent me has an Intel Core i5-10210U and 8GB RAM, although you can get it with up to an Intel Core i7-10510U and 16GB RAM. It also comes with optional Nvidia GeForce MX230 graphics.
Aside from performance, and the fact that you can beat the heck out of it, the Enduro N3 is a regular Windows 10 laptop. It's got a 14-inch FHD display, a full-size keyboard, a Precision trackpad, and so on. Check out the unboxing video below:
