I've always been a fan of HP's EliteBook lineup since the first one I reviewed a year and a half ago. That was the EliteBook 1030 x360 G2, and now it's time for the third generation.
The device keeps everything that was great about last year's model, and it adds some. It now has Intel's eighth-generation U-series Core processors, which are quad-core now. That means that this PC will have anywhere between 30-45% more power than its predecessor. There's also a 4G LTE option, although that's not included in the unit that HP sent me, sadly.
Of course, there's an option for Sure View as well, which is HP's privacy display. This only comes on the 1080p model, but it makes it so that people viewing the screen on an angle can't see what's being displayed, preventing people from looking over your shoulder to see what you're looking at.
It includes an array of other security features too, like Sure Start, which checks the BIOS against a master copy and replaces it if it's corrupted. WorkWise is an app that connects your PC to your phone, and will tell you if the device has been tampered with. Another app included is PhoneWise, which allows you to send and receive texts, and make and receive calls from your PC.
