A couple of months ago, HP refreshed its Spectre lineup, which is its premium band of portable PCs. One of the new models is the 13-inch x360, which includes Intel's new eighth-generation U-series processors. Performance is increased from last year's model by 30%, since the U-series is now quad-core.
The company also changed up the design a bit. You can see from the image above that the hinge has a more angular design, where previous models were rounded. It's thinner and lighter, coming in at 13.6mm and 2.78 pounds, and the bezels are a bit more narrow as well. Side bezels now come in at just 5.75mm, the top is 17.35mm, and the bottom is 34.17mm.
There's also an option for a Sure View display, the first of its kind from HP in a consumer device. Previously, this was exclusive to the EliteBook lineup, and it makes it impossible for people to see what you're doing on your PC if they're viewing it from an angle.
The Spectre x360 also offers some new pen features with the new HP Tilt Pen, although that pen is sold separately. The one that comes with the device is the standard pen.
