HTC announced the Desire 530 for international markets at Mobile World Congress back in February, alongside the Desire 630 and 825. Just over two weeks ago, the company announced that the device is coming to the United States.
As far as specs go, the Desire 530 is extremely similar to the Desire 626, which has been available in the US for some time. Both handsets include a 5" 720p IPS LCD, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 256GB), an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 chipset. In fact, it would seem that the main difference between the two is the new speckled design of the 530.
