A few weeks ago, I unboxed the Lenovo Yoga C940 15, and now the 14-inch model is here. While they look similar externally, these are two different machines. While the 15-inch one is a beefy convertible with a 45W CPU and dedicated graphics, the 14-inch variant includes Intel's 10th-generation 'Ice Lake' processors, including Iris Plus graphics.
The Yoga C940 takes the best of last year's C930 and this year's S940 clamshell. It includes the Dolby Atmos rotating soundbar in the hinge, and it has a pen garage that has been moved to the back of the PC. From the S940, the C940 includes the reverse notch, making it easier to open the lid, along with narrow bezels.
The model that Lenovo sent me includes a Core i7-1065G7 CPU, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The 'G' number in the CPU name is for graphics power, which is worth considering since the Core i5 model has a Core i5-1035G4, rather than the G7.
