When Lenovo announced the Yoga C940 at IFA this year, it introduced an all-new 15-inch model. Not only that, but the larger variant packs more powerful internals, like a 45W Intel Core i7-9750H and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU.
This year's C900-series PCs take what was great about last year's C930 convertible and combine it with what was great about this year's S940 clamshell. For example, it narrows down the bezel and has the reverse notch on top, which makes room for the webcam and makes it easier to open the lid.
They also keep the rotating Dolby Atmos soundbar in the hinge. With these speakers, the crystal clear sound is always firing right at you. The C940 also keeps its pen garage, another feature that debuted in the C930.
Basically, the Yoga C940 takes the best of its two recent critically acclaimed PCs and combines them into one. And the 15-inch one, which is the one I'm reviewing, packs powerful internals that are frankly rare in a convertible. Off the top of my head, I can't think of another convertible with a ninth-generation H-series processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics.
