The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G was announced alongside of the OnePlus 7 Pro back in May, but there was only one problem: it was exclusive to the UK. That all changed last week when Sprint announced its 5G launch in New York City, and also announced that it's bringing the OnePlus 7 Pro along for the ride.
The handset itself is very much the same as the 4G LTE model that we reviewed in June. It has a stunning 6.67-inch 90Hz OLED display, and it's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and a 4,000mAh battery. It includes a triple-lens rear camera, with a 48-megapixel standard lens, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, and an eight-megapixel 3x zoom lens. It also has fast UFS 3.0 storage.
But there's only one configuration of the 5G model: 256GB of storage, 8GB RAM, and it comes in Nebula Blue. Sadly, there's no model with 12GB RAM like there is for the 4G model. This is presumably because OnePlus won't sell a lot of them, since 5G still isn't very widespread.
