The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are due to be in stores on March 16. Before then, we thought it would be nice to unbox a retail version of the handset ahead of its official release date.
While the Galaxy S9+ is a new entry in the Galaxy series, you wouldn't know it at first glance, as the design is extremely similar to last year's Galaxy S8+. Perhaps one of the easiest tells of the S9+ is its rear, which has a dual camera sensor. But if that portion was covered up, you could hardly tell. As far as the internals go, you get an all-new chipset with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor powering the handset, along with 6GB RAM, and a 3,500mAh battery.
Inside the box is your standard fare, with Samsung delivering an array of manuals, along with the smartphone, AKG headphones, wall adapter, USB Type cable, and replacement ear tips. Naturally, we will have more to come about the Galaxy S9+ so stay tuned. If you have any questions or comments, leave them down below.
