Renders of the rumored Google Pixel 6 Pro were first seen in May, showing off a big-screened flagship phone with triple cameras housed in a horizontal hump at the back spanning the width of the device. The renders not only gave us our first unofficial look at the upcoming Pixel phone, but also suggested that Google was reviving a flagship with a larger screen in its 2021 lineup after copping out on that last year.

Now, a fresh leak claims to divulge the spec sheet for the Pixel 6 Pro and its smaller sibling, courtesy of renowned leaker Jon Prosser. In a post on FrontPageTech, Prosser wrote that both devices will be powered by Google’s custom chipset, in line with previous rumors. Earlier this year, an internal Google documentation was spotted containing information about that chipset, dubbed "Whitechapel".

Other rumored key specs of the Pixel 6 Pro are as follow:

  • Display size: 6.71-inch (POLED)
  • Rear camera setup: 50MP (Wide) + 48MP (Telephoto) + 12MP (Ultra wide)
  • Front camera: 12MP
  • Battery: 5000mAh
  • RAM: 12GB
  • Storage: 128GB / 256GB / 512GB
  • OS: Android 12

The Pixel 6, meanwhile, is claimed to feature the following:

  • Display size: 6.4-inch (AMOLED)
  • Rear camera setup: 50MP (Wide) + 12MP (Ultra wide)
  • Front camera: 8MP
  • Battery: 4614mAh
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 128GB / 256GB
  • OS: Android 12

Both phones are also said to support WiFI 6E and 5G, unsurprisingly. What's more noteworthy about the report is the mention of five years of software updates for both devices. This is a major leap from the three years of support that Google typically offers to Pixel users. As for the release date, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are believed to launch in October.
