Quick Info

File Name: wm_avcodec_interface_setup.exe - Download Size: 365 KB - Date Published: 3/7/2003 - Version: 9

Overview

This beta package includes documentation and sample code that demonstrate how to use the Codec APIs in the Windows Media Format 9 Series SDK. With this information, ISVs can use the Windows Media Codecs directly (rather than through the current Windows Media Format APIs) and in any file container (other than ASF). The documentation covers the APIs for all the Windows Media Codecs in Windows Media 9 Series: WMA 9, WMA 9 Pro, WMA 9 Voice, WMA 9 Lossless, WMV 9, WMV 9 Screen, and WMV 9 Image. The samples demonstrate how to encode and decode WMV streams in AVI using VFW and DirectShow
