The Huawei Mate 9 made its debut in the US in January and offered an excellent bang for buck option for those that wanted a premium handset with a lot of features. Several months later, Samsung, LG, HTC, and others have released devices that look much sleeker, are more powerful, and competitively priced due to the firms offering frequent discounts. While Huawei did cut the price of the Mate 9 a few days ago, along with the Honor 6x, it looks like the price on the Mate 9 has now been further reduced, making it even a more enticing option.
Although the Mate 9 was previously priced at $499.99, which was $100 off the retail launch price, it can now be had for $459.99, an additional $40 off the recently discounted price. Both Space Gray and Moonlight Silver are available as colors options, but it is unknown at this time whether this is a permanent price discount or a limited time offer.
