Epic Games Store is offering The Spectrum Retreat to claim and keep for free

Epic Games Store has put on offer The Spectrum Retreat for this week’s giveaway, taking the place of Sonic Mania and Horizon Chase Turbo.

The Spectrum Retreat is a first-person puzzler originally released in 2018. It was developed over a five-year period by Dan Smith, starting when he was 15. It won the BAFTA Young Game Designer Game Making Award in 2016. Here’s how the Epic Games Store describes it:

Check-in to The Spectrum Retreat for a stay you won’t forget. Explore the pristine and uncanny hotel, The Penrose, while solving its ingenious colour-coded puzzles and discovering the reasons behind their seemingly never-ending stay.

Epic Games Store is offering The Spectrum Retreat for Windows. Here are the minimum requirements:

  • Processor: AMD FX 6300 @ 3.5 GHz or Intel Core i3 or higher
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Storage: 8 GB available space
  • Direct X: Version 11
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 550 or Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti or higher
  • Other: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

If you wish to claim The Spectrum Retreat, you can find it here. It will be free to claim until July 8, which is when Epic will put on offer Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead and Ironcast for its next giveaway.
