Last month we came across a rumour regarding the launch of the W6.0 Pro 2, a follow-up to the W5.5 Pro from Spanish smartphone maker Funker. Now, the smartphone has been silently listed on the company's website for pre-order with an expected delivery date of August 29th.
The Windows 10 Mobile-powered smartphone is priced at €379.90 on Funker's website, which is significantly more than its predecessor that was available for €239.90. However, the internals have also been upgraded to match the price.
The smartphone packs mid-range hardware specifications, which are as follows:
- 6-inch 1080p Gorilla Glass 3 display
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB internal storage
- 8-Core 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617
- GPU Adreno 415
- 13 megapixel front-facing camera + 5 megapixel rear-facing
- 3,900mAh battery
- Bluetooth 4.0
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
- 4G LTE connectivity (bands 1/2/3/4/7/8/9/19/26/28B)
- USB Type C, Continuum support
- 160 x 82.3 x 7.9mm; 176g
There aren't many Windows 10 Mobile devices with Continuum support out there, so it will be interesting to see how the Spanish manufacturer fares with the W6.0 Pro 2, especially since it is one of the first to use the Snapdragon 617 chip.
