oh gosh, that's awful.....lord no, fortunately the good folks at Microsoft know how to make a REAL interface that works..... :x

EDIT: And for pete's sake, download ClearTweak from Google (it's free) and set your ClearType contrast to 1000. You'll be glad you did.

But it looks like that he used ClearType to me. It's just the image he posted. GIF's and JPG's are low quality and loses some details that is why it looks like jagged.

lol...thats basically the impression i wanted to give...but i think that the user should be able to choose which way they want to visualize it...

A crappy progress bar is good enough for me.

Why would we need to pretend that the files are being sucked over to the destination? Computing for me is about getting a job done, not ****ing around with OTT eye candy.

Well I'm sure that Microsoft (or any other company that would make something like this) would know that fact and have an option to turn it off... Just like you can turn of Visual Styles in XP. ;)
