The satellite’s Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) instrument recently captured stunning views of Earth. GOES-19, NOAA’s newest geostationary satellite, launched on June 25, 2024, onboard a Falcon Heavy rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
