It looks like AMD's Athlon XP 1700+ has become the sweet spot at only $155, then couple it with a MSI K7T266 Pro2 (KT266A) motherboard for $113, a Visiontek GeForce3 Ti 200 ($175.66) and 256MB of Crucial PC2100 RAM ($31.88) and you've got one hell of a computer, and I mean it !
