MacTeens reports on evidence suggesting that recent builds of Panther contain information indicating possible work with Panther (build 7B53 is the first build where this evidence shows up) specific to addressing specifications of the Department of Defense, The Army, The Marine Corps, and other government organizations. Additionally, one of the .nib files for the login window application contains a login message evidently destined for government employees, explaining the terms of use and consequences of misues of a government computer system. In addition to the wording about government computer systems, logos for many different government agencies were found in the nib files. Also included with this build is apparently an application called "Common Access Card Viewer", which our source says according to Apple "lets you change the personal identification number (PIN) of a U. S. Department of Defense Common Access Card and view your personal information on the card.
