Apple Computer Inc. on Monday released an update to its KHTML-based Web browser, Safari. In addition to stability enhancements, Safari 1.2 also includes several new features requested by users.

- Support for personal certificate authentication.
- Full keyboard access for navigation.
- Ability to resume interrupted downloads.
- Support for websites that use LiveConnect for communication between JavaScript and Java applets (requires Java 1.4.2)
