Apple unveiled a refreshed iPad Pro model about a month ago, and alongside it, it announced that iPadOS would be getting trackpad support with version 13.4. Additionally, it announced the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro, which now adds a trackpad below the keyboard itself, making the iPad Pro feel more like a laptop computer.
Last week, the keyboards showed up on Amazon, and today, Apple has announced that they're now available to order from its website. Additionally, while it was originally planned for a release in May, Apple is now saying it will begin shipping next week, a whole week earlier.
While it was announced alongside the new iPad Pro models, the new Magic Keyboard will work with the previous-generation iPads released in 2018. Plus, if you have iPad models that aren't supported, you can get any other trackpad accessory, like Apple's Magic Trackpad.
The new Magic Keyboard can be ordered from Apple's website, costing $299 for the 11-inch iPad Pro and $349 for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. If that's too much for your liking, Brydge has the Pro+ accessory starting at $199 for the 11-inch model and $229 for the 12.9-inch version.
