Assassin's Creed Origins is all ready and set to launch later this month, and Ubisoft has now revealed what sort of post-launch features we can expect for the game rooted in ancient Egypt, free or otherwise.
Those who purchase the game's season pass will receive two DLC packs, The Hidden Ones and The Curse of the Pharaohs, as well as some exclusive items and credits.
From the two DLC packs, arriving first in January 2018 is The Hidden Ones, that will be set years after the base game's storyline, where the assassin order will clash with an occupying Roman force. Meanwhile, The Curse of the Pharaohs, as evident by its name, will have players battling against undead Pharaohs, creatures from Egyptian mythology, and more. This DLC will be set in a new territory, and land in March next year.
As for the free content, Ubisoft has plans to add a timed Egyptian boss battle mode, a merchant that players can hunt down to get daily quests that give exotic rewards, and even a horde mode. A built-in photo mode to take snaps and add filters is also included, as well as the previously announced Discovery Tour educational mode.
Assassin's Creed Origins is launching on October 27 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The base game has a price tag of $59.99, while the Gold Edition, that includes the game as well as the season pass, comes in at $99.99.
