Battlefield 6 joins Xbox Free Play Days for the weekend

The Free Play Days promotion is back, letting Xbox players try out even more games over the weekend. This promotion has a fresh slate of games to try out over the weekend, including the biggest game of 2026. Fans who like to drift and fish also have games to try out over the weekend.

All three games from the current Free Play Days weekend require an Xbox Game Pass membership to jump in, be it Ultimate, Premium, or Essential.

Of course, the biggest offer this time is Battlefield 6. Unlike the last time, it looks like Xbox players will only be able to access the multiplayer portion of the game. However, the shooter just received its third seasonal update, bringing back the Railway to Golmud map, a new battle pass, three new weapons, and more content.

Next lands JDM: Japanese Drift Master, where the name describes the setting and task quite well. The open-world driving game has players racing through everything from narrow rural roads to highways for a fully single-player experience. Lastly, fishing fans can wade into Bassmaster Fishing this weekend, too. The title focuses on competitive fishing, offering licensed gear, real venues, and even multiplayer modes.

As always, any progress and achievements earned during the weekend also carry over automatically if you decide to purchase a game afterward. All of them are currently on sale on the Microsoft Store as well. Below are all the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on:

• Bassmaster Fishing (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows)
• JDM: Japanese Drift Master (Xbox Series X|S)

To easily find the titles on Xbox consoles, first head to the Store, and then in the sidebar, find the Home section. In there, open the Subscriptions tab. The Free Play Days collection will show up in this area.

All three of this week's Free Play Days promotions will end on Sunday, May 17, at 11:59 pm PT.
