The Dragon Age series of RPGs hasn't seen a new entry since 2014's Inquisition, and only teasers and hints have dropped over the years regarding what BioWare is silently working on to serve as a continuation of the popular franchise. Today, BioWare unveiled a special behind-the-scenes video during gamescom Opening Night Live, giving fans their best look yet - though it wasn't much - at the in-development title. Catch it above.
Unfortunately, there's only a tiny amount of very early gameplay footage seen here, with most of the video covering BioWare developers' visions for the game. Quite a few concept art pieces were shared though, as well as footage of voice actors performing lines for Solas, and new characters Bellara, and Davrin.
It will probably be quite a while until fans get to experience this Dragon Age project, as BioWare said the fantasy RPG is still in early production. The studio is aiming at utilizing next-generation technologies to build the game as well, so Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions are to be expected alongside a PC launch.
