Boomerang is a new video subscription service that will be arriving this spring that will offer over 5000 cartoon titles for $4.99 a month.
Boomerang isn't new by any means and started as a programming block in the 90s, that eventually transitioned into becoming its own TV station dedicated to animated programming. The channel has hosted beloved classics like Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, and more.
Now, Boomerang will jump into the modern space with its own subscription service that will offer all of the classics from Hanna-Barbera, MGM, and Looney Tunes - but will also provide some exclusive content in the form of new series. The service can be viewed online via a web browser or through its mobile apps via iOS and Android with plans to expand to Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV in the future.
When it launches, the service will have two subscription options - a $4.99 a month plan with seven-day trial and an annual subscription for $39.99 that will come with a 30-day trial.
