Although Casio is most well-known for its watches, the firm has branched out over the years, and the latest from the company is a rugged action camera called the G'z EYE.
As you can tell from the image, the camera isn't your typical offering and looks similar to its G-Shock line of watches. In terms of features, it includes a shock resistant exterior that can handle drops of up to four meters, waterproofing up to 50 meters, and the ability to withstand extreme temperatures.
As you might expect the camera can be controlled using physical buttons on the device but can also be controlled remotely through a compatible smartphone. While it looks impressive, the image quality may leave much to be desired as it can only shoot at 1080p at 30 frames per second at its maximum quality setting.
While the firm has not announced a date as far as global release is concerned, it will be priced at ¥46,000 in Japan which is around $410 USD. With CES right around the corner, one can only speculate that this might makes its U.S. appearance at the show.
