CD Projekt Red isn't the first company to suspend its activities in Russia. Apple and Google also join the increasing number of companies that have removed Russia Today (RT) and Sputnik news from their services.
The studio behind Cyberpunk 2077 believes "that commercial entities, when united, have the power to inspire global change in the hearts and minds of ordinary people." The company further said that it acknowledges how individuals having nothing to do with the Ukrainian invasion will get impacted by this decision, however, this action will galvanize the global community to speak about what is going on in the heart of Europe.
