Hamster Corporation has made a name for itself by preserving older retro games from the Neo Geo and releasing it for modern consoles like the PlayStation 4, Switch and Xbox One. This week, the firm has announced the release of Fatal Fury Special.
Fatal Fury Special was originally released in 1993 to arcades and was actually a revamped and improved version of Fatal Fury 2. Although there were minor changes like the adjustment to the game's speed, there were also big ones like the ability for players to chain their attacks together to form combos. Furthermore, the roster of playable characters was expanded to 15, bringing back a few from the original Fatal Fury, as well as unlocking four previously unplayable ones.
If Fatal Fury Special isn't to your liking, you can dabble in some classic shooters like Metal Slug and NAM-1975 or experience a more relaxed gaming experience with Neo Turf Masters. Fatal Fury Special is now available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch for $7.99 in the United States.
