Samsung is expected to launch its next flagship smartphone a few months from now with features such as pressure sensitive touch and a retina scanner, however, newer leaks are pouring in with new information every time. The latest leaked document obtained by Android Authority from a trusted source, shows a size comparison sheet featuring the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and the Galaxy S6.
It can be seen from the image that the standard Galaxy S7 will retain similar dimensions as the Galaxy S6 but the bezel seems to be reduced to accommodate a slightly larger 5.2-inch screen instead of the 5.1-inch one found in the current flagship.
The interesting revelation from the leaked image is that the S7 Edge will be larger than the S7, which was not the case with this year's flagships which were identical except for the curved screen on the Edge variant. As seen in the comparison, the S7 Edge will be longer by 8 mm and wider by 3 mm than the regular version and will feature a 5.5-inch screen.
If the leak is to be believed, then there won't be a reason for Samsung to release the next generation Edge+ smartphone as it did this year. It is rumoured that the Korean electronics giant would launch its next flagship devices around March 2016, but we can expect more leaks till that time arrives.
