US-based search engine behemoth Google is alledgedly planning a total storage solution with which they hope to mirror users hard drives.
Notes included in a slideshow presentation were spotted by the web's blogging community and quickly covered up by Google, who removed the file from their site.
The notes, written by Eric Schmidt, Google's chief executive, alledgedly said:
"With infinite storage, we can house all user files,
including e-mails, web history, pictures, bookmarks, etc; and make it
accessible from anywhere (any device, any platform, etc)."
The rumours have raised questions over the security of Google's proposals, as the company becomes more and more intimate with their audience.
