There are 10.4 million reasons why Microsoft might be getting some hate mail in 2007. A wonderfully titled Zephyr prototype of the Xbox 360 has been leaked onto the internet, with pictures of the mainboard, a 65nm CPU, a 120GB Hard Drive, and an HDMI output.
While it is unclear whether or not all of these new features will make it onto a 360 any time soon chances are all of them will be coming eventually. Microsoft have already confirmed that they will move on to a 65nm CPU, but have always stood their ground when questioned about HDMI and a new hard disk.
The prototype included a new HANA chip, replacing the old ANA analogue chip found in current models, confirming that current 360's can only output in analogue mode. It is also unlikely that a 120GB hard drive would be bundled with the 360, but of course this will be welcomed by those who are filling up their 20GB disks at the moment.
