Today, HP announced some new products from its gaming portfolio. First of all, it's refreshing the OMEN 30L Desktop that it announced back in May to include up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090. But also, there are a bunch of peripherals.
More specifically, it's introducing wireless peripherals, something that gamers can be skeptical about, and for good reason. Wireless peripherals almost universally have more lag and a less stable connection. HP aims to fix that with its OMEN Frequency Wireless Headset, OMEN Vector Wireless Mouse, and OMEN Spacer Wireless TKL Keyboard. It also aims to fix the dead battery problem with fast charging, so if one of these peripherals does die on you, you can get hours of use after just a few minutes of charging.
HP says that its Frequency Wireless Headset is lag-free and provides 7.1 surround sound, meaning that you won't miss anything, and you'll still be able to hear where sounds are coming from. It gets up to 30 hours of battery life. and it has a noise-canceling microphone.
The OMEN Vector Wireless Mouse is the world's fastest USB Type-C charging gaming mouse, according to HP, and it gets up to 10 hours of battery life with five minutes of charging. On a full charge, it gets 180 hours of battery life. And finally, the OMEN Spacer TKL Keyboard is meant to be ergonomic while freeing up desk space, including MX Cherry Brown switches, 100% anti-ghost, and N key roll-over.
The OMEN Frequency Wireless Headset is coming in December, starting at $169.99, the Vector Wireless Mouse is available today starting at $99.99, and the Spacer Wireless TLK Keyboard can be pre-ordered now, starting at $159.99. The new OMEN desktops will arrive this holiday season.
