Lenovo's Google Assistant-powered Smart Clock, initially priced at $79.99, is currently on sale for $39.99 on Best Buy. This is $20 less than the device's retail price, and half of its original price at launch. The smart home device has a nice-looking minimalist design, ambient light sensor, and an alarm that slowly begins to brighten its screen 30 minutes before the time set to imitate the effect of sunrise.
It can be used to display information on the weather, Google Calendar events, and play music. Those who have it installed in their kitchens can use it to learn recipes; however, it may be noted that it doesn't provide visuals like other smart displays. Instead, it will guide you step-by-step. It doesn't have the Google Photos integration, so you cannot use it to show photos and videos.
It is powered by Google Assistant, which means you can use it to control your smart home, as it has the ability to follow your voice commands. Since it doesn't have a camera, you can feel comfortable about placing it in your bedroom.
