Microsoft announces Xbox Games with Gold for July 2020

Now that it's almost the end of June, Microsoft today announced the Games with Gold for July. As is the case most months, they include two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 (playable on the Xbox One) games, which can be claimed by Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

For the Xbox One, you'll be able to get your hands on WRC 8 FIA World Championship throughout the entire month, and Dunk Lords from July 16 through August 15. In the Xbox 360 department, you can claim Saints Row 2 in the first half of the month and Juju in the second half.

WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship (Xbox One, July 1 - 31)

The WRC championship is the most challenging motor racing competition in the world.

With the new dynamic weather system, climatic conditions have true-to-life effects: rain and snowfall is now an important game feature as variable traction, different set-ups for each stage, tyre choice and shrewd use of the weather forecasting team all need to be considered.

The single-player Career mode has been rebuilt from the ground up: calendar management, R&D to improve performance, staff recruitment and management (mechanics, engineers, medical and weather teams, finance manager, etc.).

For multiplayer, weekly challenges and WRC eSports return, but the challenge and competition is now even stiffer.

With 50 teams, 14 rallies and over 100 special stages in the 2019 season, WRC 8 has the deepest content ever included in an off-road racing game.

Dunk Lords (Xbox One, July 16 - August 15)

You might be able to ball, but can you fight?

Dunk Lords is a two-on-two basketball beat 'em up featuring over-the-top special moves, devastating dunks, and game-changing equipment. Choose from 20 of the baddest ballers around, each with unique special attacks and abilities, and do battle on a variety of hazard-filled courts.

Gain the upper hand as you slam opponents with Slice's powerful digital blast, or trap players in grandma's jam jar as Frank the strawberry. But to keep the beatings going, you'll need to earn more special attacks through high-flying dunks or confidence-smashing rejections. Score from shot pads on the court to rack up additional bonuses such as money, extra points, and more. Mega shot pads even allow players to grow to an enormous size and dunk through the ceiling.

Still not powerful enough? Players can also purchase equipment that increase their abilities. Imagine lacing up shoes that let you dunk from anywhere inside the three point line, suiting up in magnetic armor that pulls loose balls your way, or slipping on spooky gloves and shooting ghostly shots that can’t be blocked.

Saints Row 2 (Xbox 360, July 1 - 15)

Help the 3rd Streets take back their city in this explosive sequel to the 2006 hit. Saints Row 2 features unparalleled character creation and customization; a massive open world to explore by land, air or sea; and online co-op play that enables you and a friend play through the entire story of Saints Row 2.

Juju (Xbox 360, July 16 - 31)

Journey with the shaman panda, Juju, and his lizard sidekick, Peyo, as they embark upon a dangerous and mystical journey to save Juju's father and the world from an ancient evil. Run, bounce, chant, and battle humongous bosses with a friend or family member in this beautifully animated, lighthearted adventure.

Being that we're still in the second half of June, you can still claim some of last month's Games with Gold. You can grab Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (Xbox One) and Sine Mora (Xbox 360) until the end of the month, and you can claim Coffee Talk (Xbox One) until July 15.
