While Microsoft has offered a seemingly endless stream of previews of its Windows 10 Creators Update for PCs, phones, and Xbox One consoles in recent weeks, it hasn't said much about the update for other devices.
Today, it offered a few details on what to expect from the Creators Update for Windows 10 Team, the specialized version of the OS that runs on the Surface Hub, its giant touchscreen collaboration device. It said that the update will incorporate "some of the top requested features", including:
- An improved Start screen
- New manageability tools to simplify large-scale deployments
- Improvements to apps such as Skype for Business "to help you connect better"
- Enhancements to the Whiteboard app to "easily enable real-time collaboration between Surface Hubs"
Microsoft added that it will share "a more detailed update on the great Surface Hub improvements coming in Creators Update before April 11th". The company announced today that the Creators Update will begin rolling out for PCs on that date.
