Back in February, Porsche Design unveiled a new high-end Windows 10 2-in-1 with a detachable display. The Book One is a rival to the Surface Book, although Microsoft generously describes the Porsche Design device as "the convertible of your dreams".
In the UK, those who purchase a Book One from the Microsoft Store can now get a Fitbit Blaze fitness watch, a one-year Office 365 Personal subscription, and an Arc Touch mouse. The total value of these freebies adds up to £299.97.
Officially, Microsoft describes the offer as a £2,395 'bundle and save' deal. But given that it's still selling the Book One on its own for the same price of £2,395, the watch, Office 365 subscription and mouse are effectively being offered as free extras with the 2-in-1.
The Book One's key specs include:
- 13.3-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD touchscreen with Quad HD+ (3200x1800px) resolution
- Wacom pen
- 7th-generation (Kaby Lake) Intel Core i7-7500U processor
- 16GB RAM
- 512GB SSD
- microSD card reader
- 5MP front-facing camera
- Infrared camera for Windows Hello biometric authentication.
- 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C Thunderbolt (tablet section)
- 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C (keyboard section)
- 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A (keyboard section)
- 2 x microphones
- Audio-out port
There's no indication of how long this bundle will remain available, so if you're thinking of going for it, it's probably best not to wait too long.
