If you've recently purchased a Surface Go and are looking for a case with which to protect your 2-in-1 tablet from damage and scratches, you might be pleased to know that Urban Armor Gear (UAG) has released two new rugged cases for the device. The cases are compatible with the features of the Surface Go tablets and come in two variants: Metropolis and Plasma.
The Plasma series model costs $99.95 on UAG's online store and ships with armor shell and impact-resistant rubber bumpers. The case includes a 360-degree rotational hand strap, optional shoulder strap, built-in kickstand, and a Surface Pen holder. The Plasma case works with the Microsoft Type Cover Keyboard and complies with military drop-test standards (MIL-STD 810G 516.6).
Meanwhile, the Metropolis series is a bit cheaper than the Plasma series, costing only $69.95 on the UAG online marketplace. Like its more expensive sibling, this version of the case has an impact-resistant soft core, tactile grip, and built-in Surface Pen storage. The Metropolis series is also compatible with the Microsoft Type Cover Keyboard and includes an aluminum stand that provides portrait and landscape viewing options to users.
Currently, only the Metropolis series is available to purchase as the Plasma series is out of stock. The Metropolis series comes in a black color option, which is ready for shipping right now if you purchase one. Meanwhile, UAG promises to launch the cobalt and magma color variants of the case soon.
