HMD Global officially launched the entry-level Nokia 2 smartphone last month. The handset is already available in Russia and South Africa, and it seems that it is set to launch in the United States soon as well. The device is listed on Amazon, B&H, and Best Buy for $99 for the unlocked variant of the handset, and is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile.
The Nokia 2 doesn't bring eye-catching specifications but can be a good option if you're looking for a secondary or budget handset. There's a 5-inch 720p display with a Snapdragon 212 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The most notable feature is the 4,100 mAh battery. The device ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system and is expected to get the Oreo update in the coming months.
Unfortunately, the exact availability date is not available as of yet. Retailers have listed the handset as "coming soon" but you can place your order.
